River Valley Veterinary Service was established in 1983 by Dr. Cynthia Sellin and Dr. Bruce Viren. The beginning years were dedicated to an equine ambulatory service focusing on client education and the maintenance of healthy horses. In 1989 the decision was made to build a clinic in Prior Lake and offer a combined small animal and equine practice. Since June of 1990, River Valley Veterinary Service has been a full-service care facility for small animals, while maintaining our long-standing equine ambulatory service . In January of 2003, Dr. Laurie Miller became a partner in our practice. From our clinic's beginning, River Valley Veterinary has continually endeavored to set the standard of superior veterinary care in the Prior Lake, MN area. In addition, we offer obedience classes, grooming and pet supplies.

Honeycomb

Cherise and Dan adopted Honey Comb from the Minnesota Valley Humane Society in August, 2009 after they moved into their new home. They wanted to add some life to the house and make the house feel like a home. Honey Comb is now a little over 5 months and full of life and energy. He loves to play and there is never a dull moment with him around. When he is done playing for the day he also loves to cuddle. He is a very fun and sweet kitten and has definitely made the house feel like a home.
